    Makeup style is elegant, fresh and natural looking makeup. Using luxury professional makeup and hair products, making sure ingredients are safe to use on all skin types.

    Every face is unique, which is why I tailor each makeup to suit to the individual. My goal is to ensure every member of your bridal party feels confident and comfortable on the day.

  • Hairstyling

    I’m passionate about creating timeless, romantic hairstyles, inspired by soft natural up-dos, vintage or glam waves and braided boho styles.

    Before we start the hair styling process, I take the time to discover the exact shape to suit everyone's face and hair type and what will work best with the dresses.

    Using many different hair prepping and setting techniques to ensure your hair stays in place all day, especially the dancing - well maybe reconsider the head banging moves!

Working with your individual style and personality, makeup is applied to accentuate and most importantly feel like you.

I believe skin should look like skin, never a mask. There is a fine balance between having makeup that lasts all day and looks good on camera while also looking flawless up close. My aim is to make sure you look and feel comfortable in your own skin.

Clean beauty kit

Products have been tried and tested to suit even the most sensitive of skins, with extensive research on luxury brands using ingredients that are safe for your skin and body.

High performance natural and clean beauty brands include, RMS, Clove + Hollow, Ecobrow, Ilia, Fit Glow, Aether Beauty, Kajer Weis, Saint cosmetics, Eye of Horus, Manasi 7, Hynt Beauty, Saie. All products are cruelty free including my favourite professional makeup brands Ellis Faas, RCMA, By Terry, Hourglass, Fenty, Tarte, Viseart, O & M hairstyling products plus more.

Hair and makeup preview

The hair and makeup preview/trial is a wonderful opportunity to create your ideas before the day so you can be sure that everything will last and be comfortable on your wedding day. It also provides a time for us to meet beforehand.

While the trial is helpful, it is optional, and there are plenty of brides who prefer not to have one, in this case just send any pictures of styles you are thinking of and we can chat before the day.

Appointments are held at my home studio in Mittagong, my hair and makeup kit is set up in a space with lots of natural light and in front of a large mirror. A hair and makeup trial will take approximately 2.5 hours, or for hair or makeup only allow 1.5 hours.

pre-wedding skin prep

In the lead up to your wedding skin preparation is really important to ensure you get the most out of your makeup. Makeup will sit best on hydrated smooth skin. I can offer guidance on skincare and skin nutrition to help you feel confident and your skin looking its best before the application of makeup.

With the privilege of working with hundreds of brides, I truly understand the importance of helping maintain a grounded and lighthearted environment for you to enjoy being pampered alongside the most special women in your life.

I’ve been fortunate enough to hear feedback from many brides thanking me for remaining calm amongst the nerves and excitement that is so natural for your wedding day.

I’m committed to only taking on one booking per day so I can stay right up until you leave for the ceremony, making sure the finishing touches are applied so you’re feeling and looking exactly how you envisioned.

 FAQ’s

  • Absolutely! I’m equally experienced in both hairstyling and makeup and have been doing both for many years. Depending on the amount of people in your bridal party, I may bring along an experienced assistant to help with the bridesmaids and Mums. I can comfortably do up to 6 services of hair or makeup on my own.

  • Hair styling and makeup application typically take around one hour each. I always allow extra time for the bride to ensure the process is relaxed, unrushed, and that we have plenty of time for any final touches. To keep everything running smoothly, I recommend being completely ready 1.5 hours before you need to leave for the ceremony.

  • Yes, always! I’m mobile, travelling all over Southern Highlands and surrounding areas.

  • You’re welcome to book it at any point after securing your wedding date. However, as a general guideline, having your appointment 2 to 6 months before wedding works well for most brides. Ideally, it’s best to have your dress confirmed beforehand, so we can ensure your hair and makeup perfectly complement your look.

  • My preference is to have the trial with only the bride, to keep the focus on you. Although if you would like to be more prepared for the day you can let me know their skin type/tone, and dress colour is helpful before the day.

  • It’s my goal to make sure that you feel and look your absolute best throughout your special day. I tailor each application to suit your skin type, this may include oil free primers, corrective concealers with setting powders and sprays, all this to ensure your makeup will last hours. Everyone in the bridal party will be given a touch up kit which includes extra lipstick and powder.
